On September 3, 2024, CGD President Emeritus Masood Ahmed delivered the keynote address at the Global Economic and Financial Stability Conference, in Seoul, South Korea. Jointly organized by the Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Bank of Korea, the Korea Development Institute, and the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee, the conference focused on two themes: responding to challenges in the global economy, and the evolution of the global financial environment and new international financial system.
